Frequently asked questions.
What age can my child start lessons?
We welcome students as young as four years old for beginner piano and drums. Starting early helps children build coordination, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.
Do we need to own an instrument?
Yes, having an instrument at home is important for practice. For piano students, a digital keyboard works perfectly. For guitar students, a small acoustic guitar is great for beginners. For drummers, a beginner drum set works well—you can even rent one directly from us. If noise is a concern, an electronic drum kit is an excellent alternative.
How long is each lesson?
While some students begin with shorter sessions, we recommend 60-minute weekly lessons as the best option. Longer lessons provide enough time to cover technique, repertoire, and creativity without rushing, giving students the most rewarding experience.
Can students try different instruments over time?
Yes! Many of our students start with one instrument and later explore others—like moving from piano to guitar, or guitar to drums. Switching instruments keeps the learning process fresh and helps students find what excites them most.
What if my child isn’t sure they’ll like music lessons?
We offer a free trial lesson so families can experience the teacher, instrument, and learning environment with no pressure. It’s the perfect way to see if music lessons are the right fit before making a commitment.
Can adults take lessons too?
Absolutely! We teach students of all ages, including complete beginners and adults returning to music after a long break. Many adult learners find lessons to be a relaxing, inspiring, and fulfilling way to grow their musical skills.
What if I’m self-taught?
If you’ve learned on your own, lessons can help you fill in gaps, improve technique, and expand your repertoire. Our teachers will build on what you already know and guide you to the next level, whether that means polishing fundamentals or tackling advanced material.
